Patient Experience Dashboard
PEP Health's patient experience dashboard is designed to allow hospitals and their staff to analyse and respond to patient feedback across a range of different metrics relating to areas of their experience. It provides insights both in the form of long-term trends viewable as rolling average scores, and as individual patient comments from internal and external sources.
This dashboard and its data has allowed hospitals to be more responsive to issues that are affecting patients, as well as to highlight positive feedback.
Technology
The dashboard is built in Next.js. Initially, server-side API functions handled database calls alongside AWS Cognito integration for user authentication. As the dashboard has grown, the API and data management has been built and managed in AWS using CDK to define the necessary infrastructure as code.
